Spec RSA M3-EX Review The EAR July 2016

The EAR on line magazine carries a superb review of the Spec RSA M3-EX integrated amplifier Rene van Es falls under its spell.

That is until I listened to the SPEC RSA-M3EX, an amplifier that makes me forget the technology and sounds so good that I would like to own one. It is my first encounter with class D technology that offers high end sound quality in the true sense. I realise I probably make more enemies than friends with these words, so be it.

A final word: I often get the impression that Japanese high end products have a soul, a part of the designers aura stays under the hood. The SPEC is among these products, Shirokazu Yazaki has me under his spell.

Hifi Choice reviewer Neville Roberts feels the Acoustic Revive Lan Isolator brings many benefits to those using streamers and file based audio digital replay systems.

Hifi Choice awarded the Acoustic Revive Lan isolator 5 stars in this month's issue for this great little upgrade device .

Overall, the A/B tests demonstrate noticeable audible improvements. Music has a blacker background, detail is clearer and the sonic images are denser, inhabiting a deeper soundstage. The bass is a touch more authoritative and the upper treble seems more extended without being over the top. In the grand scheme of things, this is a reasonably priced upgrade for a digital audio system and it works a treat."

SPEC RSA 717EX Review in Hifi News October 2015 "Highly Commended"

Andrew Everard writing in October's edition of Hifi News has been listening to the Spec RSA 717EX commented on its rather special ability for making enaging music sound effortless.

"The SPEC view of proceedings is again rich and warm, but there's no shortage of drive or rhythmic acuity in the overtures, while the soprano soloist (Elizabeth Watts) has plenty of character, and a quite deliciously luminous quality to her voice. It's not the most explicit sound I've heard, but it's very enjoyable.

What HiFi review TAD DA1000 may 2015

Oracle releases the new Turbo II power supply

Oracle introduces an improved turbo power supply unit for the Delphi and Paris ranges of turntables.

These will be available to purchase form the dealers as a new unit or existing Oracle owners will be able to update the own unit with an exchange board scheme.

Improvements which could be gained by the Turbo Mk II psu include improved stage depth, detail retrieval, better speed stability, greater musical flow and involvement.

HIfi News High Commended award RP-02 Phono Stage

Steve Harris in May 2015's edition of Hifi News commented on Renaissance RP-02 phono stage with enthusiasm.

Listening to the RP-02 proved to be thoroughly enjoyable, as it allows the music to come through in a very natural way. In practice the RP-02 will give good results with most moving coils, while alternative loadings or gain settings can be proved on request. But in any case it offers a sonic performance that is quite hard to beat at the price.
