Reniassance's CD playback solution starts with our meticulously designed and engineered RT-01 transport. Which offers a very high quality CD (red book) playback performance in a clean, minimalist package. Again much of the design effort was expended on making the unit simple with high intrinsic build standards. The Renaissance RT-01 transport design brief was simple, high CD replay performance, great build quality and ease of use with the minimum of fuss. The Renaissance gives you the opportunity to achieve thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable CD playback in a multitude of systems effortlessly.

Although in the throws of file based streaming systems, the number of dedicated CD transports being sought in the last 24 months (May 2015) has increased due to most owners of file based systems still require a physical CD transport to pair with the dac they are using on the FBA (file based audio) system as these customers do not wish to 'rip / copy' large amounts of CD's, but rather have the benefits of FBA in conjuction with a dedicated CD trasport therefore accessing the best of both worlds so to speak.
